Notes: The song is based around a chess club meeting in Belfast with subversive humour coming from using
terminology more commonly used during "The Troubles". "Fraoich" is Gaelic for heather and is a female name
which can be pronounced a few ways usually depending on region but "Fray-och" or "Froo-ch" are used.
"Tiocfaidh ar la" means "our day will come" and was associated with many republican prisoners during
"The Troubles"...it is usually pronounced "Chuckah are lah" though again, regional variations exist.
The phrase which procedes it "No Surrender" was associated with unionists during the same times.
